C-A-T

It was a beautiful Michigan summer afternoon when Judy decided to go outside and water her plants before they dried up. Judy was surprised as she started to water a plant she had sitting in her antique butter rocker that her father had given her. Curled next to the plant was a small kitten that didn’t seem to care that there wasn’t much room. While Judy tried to figure out what to do with the kitten, her phone rang.

“I have to tell you something funny,” her sister from New York said, explaining that her granddaughters were bored and decided to play with a Ouija board. “Ask my dad what’s on Judy’s front porch,” she instructed the kids, playfully. “The Ouija board spelled out C-A-T. Isn’t that funny?”

Judy gasped and then told her that Dad was correct, on her porch was a cat. She knew that it was a gift from Heaven.
